Heat-resistant Paint
DESCRIPTION
Silicone resin based, non-chlorinated, semi-mat, heat-resistant topcoat paint with high physical and heat resistance. It is a paint that does not require priming prior to paint application, has good adherence on the application surface and has high physical and heat resistance.
PROPERTIES
- High heat-resistance.
- Excellent adhesion capability.
- Does not chalk, blister or peel off.
- High hide and matt appearance.
APPLICATION SURFACES
As the heat-resistant topcoat has been specifically designed for any metal surfaces that are exposed to high temperatures (250°C to 900°C), it can be safely applied on any metal surfaces.
APPLICATION METHOD
Surface preparation is as important as the application itself in order to achieve the expected performance from the heat-resistant system. Moisture, chloride, sulphate salts, rust, and rolling mill residue must be removed from the surface. Additionally, any dust, dirt, oil and grease must be removed from the surface using cleaning agents and/or high-pressurized water jet. After these procedures, the surface should have a slight metal shine to it and the paint should be applied onto the surface preferably immediately, and in any case, in no later than 30 minutes. After Heat-Resistant Topcoat Paint’s packaging is opened, it is stirred well to homogenize. It is recommended to apply the coat in a dry film thickness of 30-35µ in order to achieve the expected performance.
