DESCRIPTION
Alkyd polyurethane resin based, two-component furniture primer paint.
PROPERTIES
- Easily sanded.
- High hide and filling ability.
APPLICATION SURFACES
It is used as a primer on any solid wood, chipboard and MDF surfaces intended for indoor use in furniture and decoration industry. Polyurethane primer has been formulated to prepare any wooden surface and veneer for topcoat paint application. It allows for unproblematic application of Cellulosic, Polyurethane and Acrylic based topcoat paints on top of it.
APPLICATION METHOD
Surface of application must be clean and sturdy. Wooden surfaces must be sanded with a suitable sandpaper and any sand dust must be removed. As it is a two-component product, prepare the mixture in the amounts needed at the specified ratio paying attention to the useful life of the mixture. Make sure the product temperature is not below 15°C in order to achieve a homogenous mixture. Component A must be stirred alone and the hardener (Component B) must be added at the specified ratio. The mixture diluted down to the viscosity of application with polyurethane thinner must be mixed until achieving a homogenous mixture. The mixture readied for application is applied with air sprayer in two to three coats in cross directions depending on the desired surface filing finish. The surface is left to cure in a dust-free environment.

Important Warning
The components must be mixed well. Since the paint cannot be used after the mixture’s useful life expires, mixtures should be prepared in small amounts according to the mixing ratio in order not to reduce the product by wastage. Any surplus paint mixed with hardener should not be poured into the paint not mixed with hardener.
