Polyurethane Scratch-proof Varnish

Polyurethane Scratch-proof Varnish

DESCRIPTION

Two-component, polyurethane based, reaction curing, topcoat varnish. Due to its polyurethane composition, it forms a physically hard film resistant to scratches and impacts and to discoloration. It creates a plump film coat due to its high solid material content. It is specifically recommended for applications that require high resistance to scratches.

PROPERTIES
  • Resistant to domestic chemicals, water and detergent.
  • Very resistant to impacts and scratches.
  • Forms a plump film coat.
  • Resistant to discoloration.
APPLICATION SURFACES

Polyurethane varnish is applied on solid wood and veneer wood surfaces treated with Polyurethane, Cellulosic and Polyester based filler varnish and polishing polyester.

APPLICATION METHOD

It is applied with a sprayer. The mixture is prepared at the specified ratio. The mixture is left to rest for 10-12 minutes for the fine bubbles formed during mixing to burst. A very glossy and smooth surface is achieved when the product is applied in 3-4 coats with 20-30 minutes’ intervals depending on the ambient temperature on surfaces sanded after being treated with Polyurethane Varnish, Polyurethane Cellulosic or Polyester Filler Varnishes.
