1k Acrylic Primer
Single component, fast drying primer with good adherence on metal surfaces and excellent outdoor resistance. It is used as primer on machines and tools used outside.
It is an epoxy resin based, two-component, solvent-free, low-viscosity, decorative flooring material resistant to discoloration, which can be applied in a single thick coat.
It is directly applied on cement finished surfaces, or as 3D decorative coating on the patterns applied on the cement finish, or as decorative and protective coating after epoxy or polyurethane mortar, self leveling, terrazzo applications, or as protective coating on surfaces made of composite panels such as precast concrete panels, MDF, etc. to provide for resistance to humidity, abrasion and chemicals.
The surface of application must be clean and sturdy. Pay attention to the recoating time of previously applied primer or intercoat. As it is a two-component product, prepare the mixture in the amounts needed at the specified ratio paying attention to the useful life of the mixture. Make sure the product temperature is not below 15°C in order to achieve a homogenous mixture. Component B is added into Component B at the specified ratio mixed with a mechanical mixer at low speed for at least 3 minutes until Components A and B are homogenously mixed. The mixture should be left to rest for 5 minutes and must be used before its useful life expires.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
Component A: 2 parts
Component B: 1 part
0.3 – 0.5 kg/m2
Hard Dry: 7 days / at 20°C
The material must be stored in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of Components A and B is 1 year in their sealed original packaging if they are stored under the right conditions.
12 kg of Component A + 6 kg of Component B: a Set of 18 Kg
12 kg of Component A + 4 kg of Component B: a Set of 16 Kg
Important Warning: The components must be mixed well. Since the paint cannot be used after the mixture’s useful life expires, mixtures should be prepared in small amounts according to the mixing ratio in order not to reduce the product by wastage. Any surplus paint mixed with hardener should not be poured into the paint not mixed with hardener.
