Cellulosic Rust Paint
DESCRIPTION
Alkyd and nitro-cellulose based, air drying, single component, cellulosic, colorant intercoat paint.

APPLICATION SURFACES
It is applied on any indoor wooden furniture as a colorant intercoat on top of cellulosic or polyurethane filler varnish.
APPLICATION METHOD
The surface of application must be clean and sturdy. Wooden surfaces must be sanded with suitable sandpaper and cleaned off of any sand dust. The product is diluted with thinner by 10% and applied with a sprayer on surfaces varnished with filler varnish. Make sure the application is done in two-three coats in cross directions depending on the shade of color desired. The surface is sanded with sandpaper no. 360-600 after waiting for minimum 6 hours, and if desired, Cellulosic, Polyurethane or Acrylic topcoat varnish is applied. It may be diluted with cellulosic thinner and applied by mixing it with topcoat varnishes, if desired.
Dilution / Mixing Ratio
Diluted with cellulosic thinner by 10%.
Paintable (Coverable) Area
Covers a surface of 8-10 m2/kg (with a dry film thickness of 25-30 µ).
Drying Time
(20°C)
Dust Dry: 10-15 minutes
Touch Dry: 40-60 minutes
Hard Dry: 4-5 hours
Storage
The product must be stored in a cool and dry place. The shelf life of the product is 1 year in its sealed original packaging stored at the right conditions.
