Liquid Membrane

DESCRIPTION

Bitumen and solvent based, single-component, ready-to-use liquid membrane used against water and humidity. It strongly adheres on the surface after the solvent it contains evaporates, creating a super elastic film resistant to water.

 APPLICATION SURFACES

It is used on foundations, supporting walls and shear walls, gallery, drainage and foundation excavations, reinforced concrete terrace roofs, balconies, water canals and closed valleys against ground humidity and leaks and for waterproofing of pools.

APPLICATION METHOD

It is applied on the side of the surface that will come in contact with water. It is ready to use and does not require heating or dilution. It can be applied using a brush, a rake or an unpressurized sprayer. Although it dries in approximately 2 hours, wait for one day in between the coats in case of recoating. In case it is desired for the surface to withstand greater pressure, supporting it with polyester, felt, net, weather strip or similar supports will yield excellent results.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

Ready-to-use. It may also be diluted before use, if desired.

Paintable (Coverable) Area

It should be applied in minimum two coats, each coat consisting of 600g/m2 of product.

Drying Time

(20°C) 2 hours 

Storage

It can be stored in its original sealed packaging for 2 years in a cool and dry environment with no direct sunlight at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C and protecting from frost.
