Solvent-free Epoxy Paint

DESCRIPTION

Solvent-Free Epoxy Paint is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy resin based, glossy topcoat paint. It offers high resistance to corrosion and chemicals, makes it possible to achieve high film thickness as it can be applied in thick coats, gives a glossy look to the surface, is resistant to acids, petroleum products, water and solvents, has high mechanical resistance to abrasion and impacts, and is especially suitable for use in drinking water reservoirs.

APPLICATION SURFACES

It is safely used in hospitals, children playgrounds, drinking water tanks and reservoirs, production plant grounds, and pipelines.

APPLICATION METHOD

After components I and II are mixed at the specified ratio and left to rest for 5-6 minutes, the mixture is applied in on primed surfaces a single coat or two coats using a trowel or a roller. Wait for 24 hours in between the coats. The mixture prepared must be used within 1 hour.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

3 parts of Component A and 1 part of Component B

Paintable (Coverable) Area

1 kg of product covers a surface of 4 m2 (for a dry film thickness of 200 µ).

Drying Time

Touch Dry: 4-6 hours

Hard Dry: 4-6 days

Storage

It can be stored for 1 year at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C in its original packaging, in a closed environment with no direct sunlight. Protect from extremely high temperatures and humidity.

Packaging

18 kg of Component A + 6 kg of Component B: a Set of 24 Kg

15 kg of Component A + 5 kg of Component B: a Set of 20 Kg

Important Warning: The components must be mixed well. Since the paint cannot be used after the mixture’s useful life expires, mixtures should be prepared in small amounts according to the mixing ratio in order not to reduce the product by wastage. Any surplus paint mixed with hardener should not be poured into the paint not mixed with hardener.
