Yalaz Fiber Water Stop is a ready-to-use, micro fiber added, white-colored, liquid membrane waterproofing material developed for areas considered to be at risk in terms of waterproofing.
It is safely applied on concrete, rendering, glazed tile, galvanized sheet and wooden surfaces that require waterproofing such as roofs, grounds and basement walls, especially in junction points or areas with risk of cracks, filters and chimney bases.
The Fiber Water Stop should be applied on moisture-free, dry and clean surfaces. The application surface should be cleaned off of any oil, dirt, dust and loose materials that prevent product from adhering on the surface. The application surfaces should have an inclination that prevents ponding. Any cavities and holes in the ground should be filled with repair mortar. Depending on the condition of the surface, Fiber Water Stop diluted with water by 100% should be applied as primer before applying two coats of Fiber Water Stop (Fiber Water Stop should be applied without dilution. The application must be in minimum two coats). Wait for maximum 24 hours in between the coats, and the second coat must be applied at a 90° perpendicular angle to the first coat. Junction points should be painted in stripes. Fiber Water Stop should be applied especially when the weather is dry, and at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C. Do not apply the product when its is rainy, snowy and frosty. All surfaces of application should be protected from adverse weather conditions for 48 hours. All surfaces painted with Fiber Water Stop should be protected with cement finish, ceramic or similar coatings for performance and resistance against external factors. Application tools should be cleaned with water.
The first primer coat is diluted with water by 100%. The second coat is applied directly without dilution.
1 liter of paint insulates a surface of 1-2 m2 depending on the method of application and surface. The consumption amounts given are approximate values and the exact consumption amounts will be determined upon completion of work since there will be variances depending on the porosity and cavity structure of the surface.
