Parquet Polish

DESCRIPTION

Urethane alkyd based, single component, glossy parquet polish. It is used to protect wooden and parquet surfaces from chemical and physical effects. It forms a film coat on the surfaces it is applied, protecting the surface from tea, coffee, alcohol, oil, detergent, etc.

 APPLICATION SURFACES

It is a varnish than can be safely used on surfaces that require strength, such as parquets, stairs, floor tiles and mosaics.  

APPLICATION METHOD

The surface of application must be scraped, and any dirt and dust must be wiped away. The surface to be applied with Yalaz Parquet Polish must be clean and dry. If, following the scraping, a coat of Yalaz Parquet Polish is applied to prevent wood from darkening and waited for more than 24 hours, the surface should be lightly sanded, mattified and wiped. The product can be applied in 3-4 coats, depending on the desired result. Wait for 5-6 hours in between the coats. Please make sure that the temperature of the surface of application and ambient temperature are minimum +10°C during application.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

Apply without diluting in case of using a brush or a roller, and dilute with Yalaz Synthetic Thinner by 10% in case of using a sprayer.

Paintable (Coverable) Area

1 liter of product covers a surface of 10-12 m2 in a single coat depending on the method of application and the surface.

Drying Time

(20°C):

Touch Dry: 2-3 hours. 

Dust Dry: 5-6 hours.

Suitable for Sanding: 10 hours 

Suitable for Walking: 24 hours 

Hard Dry: 72 Hours.       

Storage

It can be stored in its sealed original packaging for 2 years in a closed environment with no direct sunlight at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C. Protect from frost.
