Synthetic Antirust Paint

DESCRIPTION

Synthetic alkyd resin based, antirust primer with adherence and durability and high hide, which is used under topcoat paints to prevent rusting of interior and exterior iron and iron-derivative metal surfaces due to corrosive effects in the atmosphere.

 APPLICATION SURFACES

It is used as an antirust primer paint on any interior and exterior iron and iron derivative metal surfaces such as iron works, constructions, rails, steel works, bridges.

APPLICATION METHOD

Surfaces to be painted with Yalaz Synthetic Antirust must be cleaned off of any oil, dirt, rust and blistered paint residue. It should be applied with a brush, a roller or a sprayer and diluted with Yalaz Synthetic Thinner by 10-15% depending on the method of application. In case of diluting with a different brand of thinner, it should be noted that there may be problems of blistering, shrinking, cracking and drying on the surface.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

With synthetic thinner by 10-15%.

Paintable (Coverable) Area

1 liter of product covers a surface of 12-14 m2 (dry film thickness of 45μ).

Drying Time

(20°C)

Touch dry: 1-2 hours

Topcoat application: 24 hours 

Storage

It can be stored for two years at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C in its original packaging with no direct sunlight. Protect from extremely high temperatures, humidity and frost.
