It is a primer that is used for priming wooden, chipboard, metal and plastered surfaces, which leaves no brush marks. It creates a smooth and durable film beneath topcoat paints.

APPLICATION METHOD

Surfaces to be painted with Yalaz Synthetic Primer must be cleaned off of any oil, dirt, rust and blistered paint residue. Loose, weak and blistered coats must be scraped off and repaired with putty. It should be applied with a brush, a roller or a sprayer and diluted with Yalaz Synthetic Thinner by 10-15% depending on the method of application. In case of diluting with a different brand of thinner, it should be noted that there may be problems of blistering, shrinking, cracking and drying on the surface.

Dilution / Mixing Ratio

With synthetic thinner by 10-15%.

Paintable (Coverable) Area

1 liter of product covers a surface of 12-15 m2 in a single coat depending on the method of application and the surface (dry film thickness of 45μ).

Drying Time

(20°C)

Touch dry: 1-2 hours

Topcoat application: 24 hours 

Storage

It can be stored for two years at a temperature of +5°C to +35°C in its original packaging with no direct sunlight. Protect from extremely high temperatures, humidity and frost.
