Electrostatic powder paint application is the most preferred surface finishing method by the industry for coloring and painting. It consists of very fine powder paint particles that form a topcoat paint coat. Since there are not extra costs like primer and solvent, it is a superior application in terms of affordable high resistance. The powder paint is applied in paint booth using special paint sprayers. The powder paint particles charged with electrostatic load when passing through the sprayer adhere on the surface of application in the paint booth, and this way, the coating is done. The material must be grounded very well and the surface preparation must be performed well according to the type of the material prior of painting the surface in order that the powder paint can fully adhere on the surface. Such surface preparations include de-oiling and phosphatization, etc. After the material is prepared suitably and coated with the powder paint, it is put in the kiln. The kiln temperature at 200°C and above shall allow the powder paint to melt and homogenously adhere on the material. The material taken out of the kiln is ready for its user.
